Battery Backup When the Power Goes Out in Winter
2020-11-10

Storm seasons world- wide can be a real tough time to keep a stable power supply. With the aging utility grid infrastructure and the continuous strong storms, it would mean longer and more frequent power outages. It makes more sense to keep the power available to your home with a Popsail PCS power cube inverter charger and additional battery backup, to ensure your home has enough power during the storm season.

The Popsail team can deliver a battery-based power supply solution and getting power from the utility grid is an easy way to maintain house lighting and other appliance although, more and more homes are looking forward to having a backup energy system to support them in a blackout event. The Popsail team is also looking at methods to help customers achieve the correct backup energy system and now we have a backup energy configuration to suit those needs by using Battery Power.

--A LiFePO4 battery is the ideal option which provides the years free-maintenance and long service time. Standard 48VDC(nominal) 50Ah module can make 2500Wh output capacity. By parallel using, the battery bank capacity can be enlarged to Max. 40KWh.A LiFePO4 battery is the ideal option which provides years of free-maintenance and long service time and a Standard 48VDC (nominal) 50Ah module can make 2500Wh of output capacity and by parallel using, the battery bank capacity can be enlarged to Max. 40KWh so we now have the 2500Wh Lithium battery pack available please refer to the picture below.

Inverter charger combines with MPPT

--The Inverter: 5KW inverter charger with 160A MPPT charger combined. The reason of using such big MPPT is absorbing power from solar as much as possible in daytime for the frequent power goes out.  5KW inverter charger with 160A MPPT charger combined and the reason for using such big MPPT is to maximise absorbing power from the sun in the daytime to cover the potential of frequent power outages. Please refer to the see picture below.

Inverter will always delivery power from grid to home, at the condition of AC grid fails inverter will deliver power from battery to maintain home appliance. The Inverter will always delivery AC power from grid to home, but if the grid fails the inverter will deliver power from the battery to maintain home appliances.

With this configuration there is no need to buy an extra MPPT solar charge controller. This three-inone solar inverter charger can handle AC-DC battery charger, bypass relay, DC-AC inverter and MPPT solar charger and will automatically instantly switch between grid mode and inverter mode.

This energy system is very usefull in all areas of the world where Mother Nature brings havoc and destruction causing the AC grid power to fail.
